Feedback from Festivals

WishWorks have performed to great public acclaim for Middle Farm at our annual Apple Festival, and in so doing have added a magical dimension to the celebrations, enthralling children and adults alike.Their shows nurture imaginings and provoke ideas far beyond the immediate joy of a theatrical performance, by addressing issues of complex social relevance in a highly accessible way. Such lively and original work is well worthy of all encouragement” Helen and Rod Marsh, Middle Farm

“Hi, I just wanted to send an email to thank you for being so kind to my family today at the apple festival. My five children aged two to nearly ten were completely engaged by your amazing shows today and insisted on staying to watch all four! I really appreciate the time that you spent between the shows talking to our children and allowing them to interact with the puppets. All they have done since we got home is put on puppet shows! My eldest son is autistic so it was extra special to see him engaging in something to this extent. Thank you again and I certainly hope we meet again.” Jenni Neale, parent at Middle Farm Apple Festival 2013

“I was suffering from post natal depression and your show was the one thing that picked me up. One good day” A Mum, Middle Farm Apple Festival, 2004

“Yet again another enormous thank-you for bringing Goldifox to the festival yesterday. Lily and Asher were talking about their favourite bits all the way to school today, and I'm sure the other kids were too. You're always a huge hit with everyone, and I really appreciate that your professionalism overcomes lively audience members and stage invasions! It's always so good to have you there” Lucy Marcovitch, Education consultant and writer, Festival of Jim 2014

“A very big thank you for all your hard work. I was told by so many people how fantastic your shows were and I could hear from the children’s reaction that you provided some really brilliant entertainment for them- and the adults! I’m really hoping that you come back next year. Thanks for your patience and flexibility and generous contribution in providing some top entertainment for everyone” Lisa Westoff, Festival of Jim, 2009
